Outstanding graduates of the department

       During more then100years the department of steel metallurgy conducts preparation of specialists of higher qualification. During the whole time a department produced more than 1900 steels-workers, over 120 candidates of engineering sciences and 450 doctors of engineering sciences.

      Its graduating students were in the past and  present - in the number of leaders of major metallurgical enterprises, scientific, educational and project organizations, prominent scientists among them are:

 Isaenko N.F. –full  prof.,  rector of the Dnepropetrovsk metallurgical institute(DMetI) is in 1937-1970.

Velichko A.G.. full prof.,doc.of technical sciences, rector of the National metallurgical academy of Ukraine(NMETAU)winner of the state premium of Ukraine in the field of science and engineering,corresponding of  Academy of sciences of Ukraine, honored worker of national education of Ukraine, academician of Academy of sciences of higher school of Ukraine, academician of Academy of engineering sciences

 Bembinek E.I.. is a main engineer of Plc "Nizhnedneprovsk tube plant"
