Professor Maly E.I. is actively engaged in research work. He has established himself as an expert in the production of electrode pitches and carbon-graphite products, as well as in the process of preparing coal of various grades for coking. The priority directions of Maly E.I. work are research and improvement of methods for modifying coal and coal charge to improve the quality of coke as a blast furnace fuel.
