He graduated from the Red Banner of Labor Dnipropetrovs'k Metallurgical Institute (DMetI) with a degree in metallurgy, equipment and technology of heat treatment of metals (1971), qualification - metallurgical engineer.
He defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences (1983).
He was awarded the academic title of associate professor (1997).
He has been working at the DMetI since 1966 and at the NMetAU Management Department since 1997.
He is the author of more than 50 scientific and educational works.
